OUR HISTORY
QuickBit was founded in Regina, SK back in 2014, with a mission to make Bitcoin and cryptocurrency accessible to everyone. The company launched Regina’s first Bitcoin ATM, located at Trifons Pizza on Kramer Blvd, which was one of the first 100 Bitcoin ATMs in the world. The ATM was well received, with lots of media attention, and became a popular destination for Bitcoin enthusiasts in the area.
In 2016, QuickBit relocated the first ATM to Westar, right next door to its original location. The company also launched Moose Jaw’s first Bitcoin ATM in 2017 at Getty Foods, where it currently resides. Since then, QuickBit has expanded to over 10 locations across the province of Saskatchewan, including Regina, Moose Jaw, Weyburn, Yorkton, Estevan, and Moosomin.
In August of 2021, QuickBit expanded its operations and opened Saskatchewan’s first brick and mortar crypto shop, aptly named The Crypto Boutique. This move made education, hardware wallets, and other services available in person for the first time in Saskatchewan. In addition, the company opened its online store, thecryptoboutique.ca, providing high-quality wallets, accessories, and key storage to Canadians.
Over the years, QuickBit has become a trusted name in the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency industry, with a reputation for exceptional service and expertise.
